Individual Counseling

One-on-One Support for Whatever You Are Carrying

Individual counseling gives you a private, consistent space to work through what is going on in your life. No agenda imposed on you. No judgment. Just skilled, focused support from a counselor who is there for one reason: to help you make real progress.

The Problem

You Have Been Managing on Your Own. It Is Okay to Stop Doing That.

Most people who come to individual counseling have been trying to handle things themselves for a long time. They are not in crisis. They are just tired. Tired of the same patterns. Tired of the anxiety that will not quit. Tired of feeling stuck in something they cannot name.

Individual therapy is not a last resort. It is one of the most effective tools available for building a life that actually works. The research on this is not ambiguous.

The Solution

What Actually Happens in a Session

Your First Session

A conversation. We want to understand what is going on, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to get out of coming here. We do not hand you a worksheet and tell you to come back in two weeks.

Finding Your Approach

Your counselor works with you to figure out the right approach. That might be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed work, or a combination. The method follows the person, not the other way around.

Safe & Responsive Counseling

Sessions are 50 minutes. We offer evenings. We take Medicaid and all major private insurances.
